I’m Celina, an American multi-hyphenate in Paris blending creativity, strategy & storytelling.
With an M.A. in Non Ficton Creative Writing from City, University of London and a B.A. in Communications, I am a storyteller (and yapper) at heart. I have notable experience with digital communications, copywriting, and social media content creation and management. For a fun creative outlet, I share about my life abroad on my TikTok account.
Most recently, I was the Social Media and PR Manager for a multinational European tech company. Previously, I was the External Communication Coordinator and Social Media Manager for HBS, an international sports broadcast company.
Throughout my career as a writer and content strategist, I’ve worked in many industries and produced various forms of content, including:
Highly Successful Monetized Newsletters
I helped define the brand voices of two monetized newsletters that reached a combined audience of over 200,000 daily readers; Daily Purr and The Canopy. I curated engaging articles to feature, got readers to submit their thoughts (or for Daily Purr, their cats!), and quickly became an expert in all things eco-friendly and cat related. I started with Daily Purr, which quickly gained daily sponsors, and was then asked to help the team with the launch and management of The Canopy.
LinkedIn Post & Article Ghostwriting
I ghostewrote social posts for many executives while working at Nextlane, and for the CEO and COO at HBS, including this LinkedIn article about sustainability in sports broadcast.
Travel Pieces
I recently wrote an in-depth guide on how to move to France on a student visa to study French.
I also wrote this piece on where to stay in Paris, although after having lived here for 6+ years now, I’d write it a bit differently today.
LinkedIn Newsletters
When working for HBS I created, curated, and managed the quarterly LinkedIn newsletter that received both intenral and external praise, and still continues after I left the position.
International Press Releases
While in my position as PR Manager for a multinational European tech company, I wrote many press releases that were diffused for publication in multiple countries. Here is one example.
Short Form SEO Content
Working with an agency, I wrote many search engine optimized artist biographies for an esteemed art auction website, including the bios for Rosa Bonheur and Frida Kahlo.
Engaging and Approchable Tech Blogs
While working for an automobile software company, I wrote many publications for the company blog that were then published across international sites – here is one example.
Brand Creation, Content Management, SMM
During my undergraduate studies I founded a blog for and by millennials called The Quirky Quad. I recruited and managed freelance writers, edited all content, created a content calendar, and managed all social media. After a year I sold the site and social media accounts for a profit but unfortunately didn’t save any of the blog content – luckily The Blog Herald did a feature piece on TQQ.
EmLovz – Ghostwritten Dating Articles
For this client, I was given article outlines and SEO keywords and phrases. This article is one of many I wrote, and although it may not reflect my personal beliefs, it followed the client’s brief.
SEO Long Form Monetized Content
Beyond doing search engine optimization work behind the scenes for Teacake Travels, once the #1 solo female travel blog, I was a contributor to the site’s yearly destination roundup found here.
Forever Young Adult Shout-out
During my undergraduate studies I created this passion project, an anonymous blog themed around Emma, which was featured by ForeverYoungAdult.com.
